Authorities Haul Away Counterfeit Apparel
The shop, called Shoe Repair, is on Tierrasanta Boulevard and Santo Road in a strip mall. Authorities hauled to the sidewalk armfuls of handbags, wallets and hats — all with designer logos — and packed them into cardboard boxes.
Nearly all of the major luxury brands were represented in the load, including Christian Dior , Fendi, Juicy Couture, Gucci, Chanel , Louis Vuitton, Coach and Prada.
The small shop was crowded with inventory of stuffed animals, backpacks, bags and hats.
No further details were immediately available from San Diego police, which is conducting the investigation.
